Roof replacement planning
A useful selection starts with the look you want and the exact roofing product being proposed. Bring those two parts together before finalizing a residential roof replacement.
Review the texture, shadow lines and overall effect beside the home’s exterior. A close-up sample and a full-roof photograph show different parts of that decision.
Ask for the manufacturer, product name, proposed color and relevant product information in writing. The word “shingles” alone does not identify what is being priced.
Available products and suitability are confirmed for the specific project. A style shown in an illustration or another roof photo is not automatically an offered product.
Bring a photo of the siding, trim and visible roof area. Note which exterior colors will stay and which may change.
Review the overall roof appearance as well as the detail. A small sample is useful, but it does not show the full finished roof.
Discuss the available samples for the proposed product. Screens and photographs are references; confirm the selection against the actual material.

Record the exact proposed manufacturer and product.
Record the color and profile you have discussed.
Confirm the selection for the home and roof.
Read the applicable product terms alongside the separate workmanship warranty.
Use the roof replacement estimate guide to compare removal, preparation and the rest of the work. Shingle selection is one part of that larger scope.
Bring exterior photos, examples of an appearance you like and any existing product records. Tell Conn’s what you want to understand about the proposed materials. The team can discuss appropriate choices with the replacement scope.
